Excellent food is one of the best things about holidays. Especially, if you spend your holiday in the Salzburger Land, which is very famous for its great cuisine. The Klockerhaus delights you with a combination of traditional and international dishes. Of course, we put great emphasis on regional and seasonal products. Our guests dine in a cosy atmosphere, either in the Zirbenstube or in the Bergsee restaurant.

Who spends an active holiday in the Hohe Tauern National Park, needs a tasty start into the new day. Therefore, a substantial breakfast buffet with a lot of delicacies awaits you in our hotel.

For dinner our kitchen team serves a varying four-course menu with a soup and three different main dishes. Our little guests are allowed to choose a children’s meal. Moreover, you are allowed to help yourself at our salad and starters buffet. As afters you can choose between a dessert of the day, a coffee or a schnapps of the day.

In order to turn your holiday in Krimml into a culinary experience, we provide for variety. Therefore we organise

  • a “farmer’s buffet” once a week
  • a Italian buffet once a week
  • a champagne reception once a week
  • a candlelit dinner once a week (only in winter)

Our two restaurants are the Zirbenstube and the new Bergsee restaurant.
We would like to point out to our guests that dogs are allowed in the Zirbenstube - not in our Bergsee Restaurant.

Our chef de cuisine

Alois began his apprenticeship as a chef at the Klockerhaus on 20 July 1992. After graduating in 1995, he joined the Austrian army in 1996. He "returned home" in December 1996 and has been working as our chef ever since. Alois specialises in diet and allergy-friendly, balanced nutrition.

Our hotel in Krimml is supposed to allow everyone to have a perfect holiday to relax and enjoy. Therefore, our kitchen pays special attention to guests who suffer from food allergies. Our staff receives continuous training and will always help you. Please inform us already before you arrive so that we can prepare for your needs perfectly.
