"Always at your service!"
The Czerny family and the Klockerhaus team warmly welcome you
Our family-run hotel in Krimml has a long and proud tradition. The first time the Klockerhaus was mentioned in a document was in 1350. Of course, a lot of things have changed since then.
The Czerny family has run the Hotel Klockerhaus for many years with abandon and a lot of passion. The hosts are particularly proud of the unique location of their hotel in Krimml. “From the Klockerhaus balcony you can see the Krimml Waterfalls!”, the host tells us.
A mixture of tradition, modernity and cordiality characterises our hotel in the Pinzgau. Being a National Park Hotel, it is obvious that we live in close touch with nature and would like to present our guests the beauties and uniqueness of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Our aim is that your holiday in the Klockerhaus becomes an unforgettable experience! In order that you can get to know our team already before your arrival, we would like to introduce ourselves shortly.
Your hosts
The Klockerhaus was first mentioned in a document in 1350. In 1577, the Klockerhaus was used as miners' accommodation for gold mining in the miners' holes at the lower waterfall. Today we know that the name "Klockerhaus" comes from the miners' "Klocken" (=knocking). From 1961, the simple inn developed into a popular excursion destination near the waterfalls. In 1971, Margarethe Czerny took over the hotel and since then it has been owned by the Czerny family, who continue to run it with great passion and dedication.
